Before you start
- One of the recovery codes you saved when you set up two-step verification. Each code works once.
What a recovery-code session allows
You can open your Workspaces, view and edit reports, and continue ordinary work. Publishing, PDF export, billing, team, brand, domain, and security changes stay unavailable until you restore full access.
Steps
Step 1: Start signing in
Sign in with your email code. At the second step, choose Use a Recovery Code.
Step 2: Enter a recovery code
Enter one of your saved codes. Each code works once.
Step 3: Work in the restricted session
Prooflin shows that the session is restricted. Ordinary work continues.
Step 4: Restore full access
Open Account, then Sign-In & Security, and choose Verify to Restore Access with an existing passkey or authenticator code.
Step 5: Replace used codes
If you’ve used several codes, generate a new set in Sign-In & Security.
What you should see
Prooflin shows “Full access restored” and your session is re-secured.
