Before you start
- Access to the email address on your account.
- For a passkey: a device where you saved one, unlocked with its fingerprint, face, or PIN.
- For Google: a Google account linked to your Prooflin account in Sign-In & Security, or the one you created your account with.
Steps
Step 1: Open Sign in
Choose Log In on the Prooflin website. The sign-in page offers an email code, a passkey, and Google.
Step 2: Sign in with an email code
Enter your Email Address and choose Send Code. Enter the six-digit code from the email. No password is needed.
Step 3: Or use a passkey
Choose Use a Passkey and confirm with your device’s fingerprint, face, or PIN. Prooflin never sees that data.
Step 4: Or continue with Google
Choose Continue with Google and finish in Google’s window; you return to Prooflin afterwards. Signing in with Google using the same email address doesn’t link an existing account on its own; link Google from Sign-In & Security first.
Step 5: Complete two-step verification if asked
If two-step verification is on, an email code alone isn’t enough. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app, use a passkey instead, or use one of your recovery codes.
Step 6: Choose a Workspace
If you belong to more than one Workspace, choose the one to open. You can switch later with Switch Workspace in the sidebar.
What you should see
You land on your Workspace’s dashboard, or on Choose a Workspace if you belong to several.

- HELP ARTICLESetting up passkeys and two-step verificationA passkey or an authenticator app protects sensitive changes and lets you recover access. Email codes alone don’t count as two-step verification.
- HELP ARTICLESigning in with a recovery code and restoring full accessIf you can’t use your passkey or authenticator app, a recovery code gets you back in. That session is restricted until you re-secure it with an existing passkey or authenticator.
