1About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Zealsync Private Limited (“Zealsync”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), 11/131, Elanthoor, Pathanamthitta - 689643, Kerala, India, the provider of Prooflin, uses cookies and similar technologies on the Prooflin website and service, and how you can control them.
It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle the personal information these technologies can collect and the rights you have.
PERSONAL INFORMATION AND YOUR RIGHTSPrivacy Policy2Cookies and similar technologies
- Cookies
- Small text files a website asks your browser to store. First-party cookies are set on Prooflin’s own domain. Third-party cookies are set on another company’s domain.
- Local and session storage
- Browser storage that a website can use to remember information on your device, either until you clear it or until you close the tab.
- Pixels and tags
- Small pieces of code, or tiny images, that send information to a provider when a page loads or when you take an action, such as starting a sign-up.
- Similar technologies
- Scripts that record how visitors interact with a page, such as session recording, and other tools that work in a comparable way.
In this policy we call all of these “technologies”. Some last only for your browser session; others remain for a set period unless you delete them.
3Categories and your choices
We group technologies into four categories. Strictly necessary technologies are always active. The three optional categories start off, and we use them only if you turn them on.
- 1. Strictly necessaryAlways activeNeeded to provide the website and service you request: signing you in and keeping your session secure, protecting against fraud and misuse, keeping the service working as you move between pages, remembering the Workspace you are working in where that is needed, and remembering your cookie choices. You can block these in your browser, but parts of the service, such as signing in, will then not work.
- 2. FunctionalOff until you turn it onRemember optional conveniences beyond what the service needs to work, such as the sign-in method you last used, so the sign-in page can suggest it.
- 3. AnalyticsOff until you turn it onMeasure how the website is used, such as which pages are visited, where visitors come from, and how they move through the site, and, where permitted, analyze how visitors interact with marketing pages.
- 4. AdvertisingOff until you turn it onAttribute visits and sign-ups to our ads, measure conversions, show our ads to people who have visited our website (remarketing), and let advertising providers recognize your browser for those purposes.
Google Tag Manager is a tool for delivering tags. Using it does not make the tags it delivers strictly necessary or exempt them from their category: each tag runs only when the category it belongs to is allowed.
4Optional providers
Where enabled, and subject to your choices, we use the following optional services. A service being listed here does not mean it is active on every page, that it loads on every visit, or that it places cookies each time. None of them runs before you allow its category.
| PROVIDER | WHAT WE USE IT FOR | CATEGORY | PROVIDER INFORMATION |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Website statistics, such as pages visited, traffic sources, and interactions, reported to us in aggregate. | Analytics | How Google uses information from sites (opens in a new tab)Google Analytics cookie usage (opens in a new tab) |
| Google Tag Manager | Delivers and manages the tags on our website. It doesn’t decide what you allow: each tag it delivers follows that tag’s own category. | Delivery tool; tags follow their own category | Tag Manager data privacy (opens in a new tab) |
| Google Ads | Conversion measurement and remarketing for our Google ads. | Advertising | How Google uses cookies in advertising (opens in a new tab)Google advertising cookie list (opens in a new tab) |
| Meta advertising technologies (Meta Pixel) | Measuring the results of our ads on Facebook and Instagram, and showing our ads to people who have visited our website. | Advertising | Meta Cookies Policy (opens in a new tab) |
| LinkedIn Ads / Insight Tag | Conversion measurement, website audience reporting, and remarketing for our LinkedIn ads. | Advertising | LinkedIn cookie table (opens in a new tab)LinkedIn Cookie Policy (opens in a new tab) |
| Microsoft Clarity | Session recording and heatmaps that show how visitors interact with our marketing pages. | Analytics and Advertising (needs both) | Clarity cookies (opens in a new tab)Microsoft Privacy Statement (opens in a new tab) |
4.1 Session recording with Microsoft Clarity
Where Clarity runs, it records interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and pointer movement on our marketing pages and lets us replay them as session recordings and view them as heatmaps. The pages and content listed in section 6 are excluded from it. Microsoft may use information collected through Clarity for its own purposes, which can include advertising. For that reason, Clarity runs only when you allow both Analytics and Advertising.
4.2 Adding or changing providers
This list is limited to the services above. Your choices don’t extend to other advertising or analytics providers. Before we add a provider, or use a listed one for a materially different purpose, we will update this policy and the cookie controls and, where required, ask for your consent again.
5Cookie and storage details
The first four entries are Prooflin’s own. The rest are the main first-party cookies the optional providers document for their services, shown only to the extent they apply to how we use those services.
| NAME AND PROVIDER | PURPOSE | CATEGORY | DURATION |
|---|---|---|---|
prooflin_consent_v1 | Remembers your cookie choices and the version of the choices you made them on. | Strictly necessary | Up to 180 days |
prooflin.session_token | Keeps you signed in and secures your authenticated session. | Strictly necessary | Up to 12 hours under the current configuration |
prooflin-active-workspace | Remembers which Workspace you are working in while you use the service. | Strictly necessary | Browser session |
better-auth.last_used_login_method | Remembers the sign-in method you last used, so the sign-in page can suggest it. It doesn’t sign you in. | Functional | 30 days |
_ga | Distinguishes visitors for website statistics. | Analytics | 2 years (Google’s documented default) |
_ga_<container-id> | Keeps session state for website statistics. | Analytics | 2 years (Google’s documented default) |
_gcl_au | Stores ad-click information so conversions can be attributed to our ads. | Advertising | 90 days (Google’s documented default) |
_fbp | Identifies the browser for ad measurement and remarketing. | Advertising | 90 days (Meta’s documented default) |
li_fat_id | Stores a LinkedIn ad-click identifier for conversion measurement and remarketing. | Advertising | 30 days (LinkedIn’s documented default) |
_clck | Keeps the Clarity user ID and preferences for this website. | Analytics and Advertising | 1 year (Microsoft’s documented default) |
_clsk | Connects page views into a single session recording. | Analytics and Advertising | 1 day (Microsoft’s documented default) |
For the optional providers, the durations shown are each provider’s documented defaults at this policy’s effective date, not lifetimes Prooflin has chosen. If we configure a different lifetime, we will show it here. Browsers can shorten these lifetimes, and providers can change them, so the providers’ current cookie information, linked in section 4, is the authoritative source.
Providers may also use cookies on their own domains, and they can vary the technologies they use. This table doesn’t show the values stored in any cookie, and it isn’t an exhaustive list of every technology a provider may use.
6Tracking boundaries
These rules apply to every optional technology we use:
- Optional technologies do not run before you allow the category they belong to.
- If you decline, the website, your account, and our legal and contact pages keep working.
- Private uploads, report contents, account and Workspace screens, billing details, sign-in screens, and the contents of contact messages are excluded from marketing tracking and session recording.
- We don’t send email addresses, phone numbers, free-text messages, report data, or confidential URL parameters to advertising providers.
- Your choices here don’t authorize uploading customer lists to advertising providers or enhanced matching, and we don’t do either on the basis of this policy.
- If we send measurement events from our own servers (server-side tracking), the same choices apply.
- We don’t infer consent from scrolling, from continuing to browse, or from accepting our Terms of Service.
- A new provider, or a materially different purpose for a listed one, requires an updated disclosure and fresh consent where the law requires it.
7Changing or withdrawing your choices
On your first visit, we ask for your choice with Accept All, Reject Optional, and Manage Preferences. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, nothing optional is preselected, and you can use the website without choosing.
- You can change your choices at any time with Cookie Settings, here or in the footer of every page. Your Privacy Choices opens the same controls with Advertising in view.
- We store your choices in the
prooflin_consent_v1cookie for up to 180 days. Your choices apply to the browser and device you make them on. After 180 days, or if you delete your cookies, we ask again. - Withdrawing consent stops the optional collection, recording, and event sending that choice controls as soon as you save it, including in technologies already running on the page. It doesn’t make processing that took place lawfully before then unlawful.
- Where the law requires, we delete information that relied on your consent and tell the relevant providers. You don’t need to make a separate request for this. Deletion follows our ordinary processes, so not every earlier copy disappears instantly. You can still contact us about information collected before you withdrew.
- When you withdraw consent, we can remove optional cookies set on Prooflin’s own domain, but we can’t delete cookies that other providers set on their own domains. You can delete those in your browser.
- If your browser blocks storage, we can’t save your choice. Optional categories then stay off, and we ask again on your next visit.
- If saving a change fails, optional technologies are switched off for the rest of your visit, whatever you chose before. We try to remove any earlier saved choice. If that isn’t possible, we tell you that the earlier choice may apply again on a later visit.
8Browser controls and opt-out signals
Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies, including blocking third-party cookies, and many limit how long some cookies last. Blocking strictly necessary cookies can stop sign-in and other parts of the service from working.
We honor recognized opt-out preference signals where the law requires. When your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for advertising in that browser: Advertising stays off, and Accept All doesn’t turn it on. We don’t promise to recognize every browser setting or signal.
9Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the technologies we use, or their purposes, change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect.
If we make a material change, we will ordinarily give at least 30 days’ notice before it takes effect, by email to account holders, in the service, or on our website, unless a change is needed urgently for legal, fraud-prevention, or security reasons. A new optional technology, or a new purpose that needs your consent, is not used until you have given that consent.
10Contact us
For questions about this policy or the technologies we use, or to make a privacy request, contact our Legal team through the Contact page. You don’t need an account.
