Managing sessions and deleting your account

Active Sessions lists the devices signed in to your account. You can sign out any of them, or request deletion of your account, which is processed after 14 days and can be cancelled until then.

To request deletion: a recent passkey or authenticator check, or a sign-in within the last 10 minutes

Before you start

  • To delete your account: no Workspace that you own. Transfer ownership first.

What deleting your account removes

You leave every Workspace, and your login, profile, passkeys, sessions, linked Google account, and personal settings are removed. Workspaces, their reports, billing records, audit history, and other members’ work aren’t deleted, and your past edits stay attributed to your name.

Steps

  1. Sessions

Step 1: Open Sessions & Data

Open Account and choose Sessions & Data. Active Sessions lists each signed-in device, with This device marked.

  2. Step 2: Sign out a session

Choose Sign Out next to a session. It takes effect on that device’s next request.

  3. Step 3: Sign out every other device

Choose Sign Out Other Sessions. Every device except this one will need to sign in again.

  4. Delete your account

    Step 4: Request deletion

Choose Delete My Account… and then Request Deletion, and confirm it’s you.

  5. Step 5: Check your email

Prooflin emails a confirmation, and Sessions & Data shows Deletion pending with the date the request will be processed, 14 days later.

  6. Step 6: Cancel if you change your mind

While the request is pending, choose Cancel Request in Sessions & Data, or cancel from the confirmation email.

What you should see

Active Sessions shows only the devices you kept. After a deletion request, the account shows Deletion pending until it’s processed, when your login stops working, or until you cancel.
