Before you start
- An account and a Workspace. Creating either one doesn’t start the Trial.
- A payment card for verification. Nothing is charged, and nothing is charged automatically when the Trial ends.
What the Trial includes
Trial amounts are totals for the seven days. They don’t reset monthly, and used amounts don’t replenish or restart. Paid plans use monthly allowances instead.
White-label PDFs, hosted reports, custom domains, the Audit + Client Report campaign output, and priority processing aren’t included in the Trial.
What verification does
Verification isn’t a payment and doesn’t choose a plan. The payment provider saves an authorization for the card without charging it, and Prooflin never charges it. Prooflin then cancels that authorization and shows the Owner its status in Billing & Usage.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Trial step
After you create a Workspace, the setup steps show Verify a payment method to start your 7-day Trial. The same step is available in Billing & Usage.
Step 2: Choose Verify Payment Method
Prooflin opens the payment provider’s secure page. Add your card and complete any check your bank asks for.

IN THE PROOFLIN APP Step 3: Return to Prooflin
When you come back, Prooflin shows Confirming your verification… while it confirms the card and the Workspace’s eligibility. This usually takes under a minute, and you can leave the page; the result appears on your dashboard and in Billing & Usage. Returning from the provider’s page doesn’t start the Trial on its own.
Step 4: Check the end date
When the Trial starts, Prooflin shows Your Trial has started with the date it ends. The seven days count from the confirmation.
Step 5: Choose a paid plan when you’re ready
Moving to a paid plan is a separate step the Owner takes in Billing & Usage. The Trial doesn’t convert automatically.
What you should see
Prooflin shows “Your Trial has started” with its end date, and the Workspace shows Trial.
